Stu Scott's left eye..

mpitts

Lifer
..looks like it is going to fall out of his head.

I wonder how long before he gets his own radio show and is no longer on SportsCenter.

All I could find was this:

He went to training camp with the Jets last year and wanted to see if he had
the talent necessary to be a wide receiver in the NFL. On the first play of a
passing drill he took a ball to the eye and almost lost his sight and his eye.
I am not sure how much vision he has in that eye nowadays. That's the reason
for the lazy eye.

And that was from a post in a forum 😕

I know. He got nailed in the eye by a football that was shot out of a Jugs machine at Jets mini-camp a few years back.

My point is that it is looking REALLY bad and I am sure it is freaking some people out. ESPN will probably take him off SportsCenter at some point and put him on the radio.

Last year?

"ESPN sportscaster, Stuart Scott, nearly lost his left eye when he was working out on assignment with the New York Jets. Scott, a former semi-pro player doesn't remember what happened exactly ? but the football that struck him split his cornea and lens. This injury was especially scary, as years earlier, Scott had sustained a detached retina in his right eye and counted on the 20/20 vision in his left eye to see well."

that's just scary.
