Totally hooked. I bought the box collectors set from Target for $29.99 (same price everywhere i guess) and I'm completely addicted to the 1st game so far going through the military campaign.

Very fun. Executed very well, AI is sort of stupid (you can "maze" them usually), but it is just so entertaining to create your own castle and fine tune it however you want. Very addicting if you have a creative side.

I really enjoyed Stronghold when it was released almost 10 years ago. I liked Crusader as well. I loved building fortifications and then I would man them with a ton of archers. When the enemy forces would attack they would be mowed down before they could even reach the walls.

Those were good times ... there are few really good medieval sims out there.

is it still possible to multiplayer this? either crusader or the OG stronghold?

Yes! Crusader supports multiplayer for sure. I'm not sure about the original, but Crusader definitely does.

Stronghold 3 is supposed to be released in 2011. Hopefully they'll do a good job with it.

<3 stronghold, free build took up so many hours of my life.
