Stripping Paint?

Buy a can of spray stripper , sprays on and the paint comes off with a rag or a plastic scraper. *DO IT OUTSIUDE OR IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA* The stripper can remove more than paint.

You really do not need to strip all the paint off if you are recoating. Just make sure it's smooth and the new panit will adhere. More/good info @ PimpRigs

And if there's anything on the case that's plastic, keep it far from the paint stripper, or else it'll turn into goo.

When I painted my case, I just used a power sander, and smoothed the thing out, as Sheriff suggested. Some places went through to the bare metal, others still had the white paint stuff. It all worked out - got a pretty decent shine on the thing. It's not mirror-smooth, but I can see my monitor and some wires reflecting on the side of my case - just slightly warped, that's all.
