Stripped Standoff Hole

So eveything was going smoothly, and I was screwing my motherboards into the standoff. One of the holes is stripped out, and the standoff spins when I srew it in. The hole that the standoff sits in is stripped out. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? I'm a little angry because I was very gentle, and this thing shouldn't have stripped. I've tried other standoffs to no avail. Thanks.

You can either retap bigger and find a standoff with a bigger/coarser stud - or use a Nylon standoff to just offset the board... of if you're really brave, drill a larger hole and user a slide-in nylon standoff.

High performance glue 😉
If you need other standoff configs in the future, a pincer helps...
But to screw on the mobo it should last....
