Stripped screw

What can you do for a stripped screw?

When you strip it, should you use a bigger screw driver?

Should you try a flat head?

I really need to get this screw out.

One thing to try is getting an epoxy like jbweld.
Use something metal that won't twist and attach that with the jbweld to the screw.
Worked on an auto part once.
Just be careful to use jbweld sparingly, or it will make the situation worse.

Depends on the location and type of screw. One common solution is to use a tool such as a Dremel to cut a slot into the screw, and use a flathead screwdriver to remove it. This obviously doesn't work for very small screws.

If it's a normal screw you'd find in a PC you should be able to get the screw loose with a pair of needlenose pliers.

you can always goto a hardware store and get a bit ment for stripped screws.

But as MDE states, if its a simple PC screw, a needle nose should work unless you super tightened it.

All good suggestions, I ended up drilling the screw out, it kind of ruined the screw hole but that really is not important.
