I did the pipe mod and i had to scrape the thermal goo off the core. It's hardly got ANY on it right now. And i was trying to screw it back on and one of the very small screws has become stripped. It's VERY ez to do actually with the screws they use. I need to get an arctic cooler and some thermal paste on it cuz its running VERY hot. How in the heck do u remove one of those stripped screws?

you could try this, but proceed with great great caution. maybe you should wait for some more posts.

drill a tad into the screw. dab a small screwdriver in epoxy and insert it into the hole. let it dry and remove.

I had to do this with my RC Car one. Totaly different situation, but it worked. The small screwdriver will be toast afterwords.

Are the screw threads stripped, are the threads in the heatsink stripped, or is the slot in the head of the screw stripped out? I'm not sure from I've read here...

On the back of the card there is two screws that you unscrew to release the heatsink. The actual screw itself is stripped. The head of the screw is stripped.

I think that EngenZerO's idea is a good one then. Be very ginger with the drill, though, and go slowly. Good luck.
