striped IDE drives

I have 3 IDE drives in my box. I boot off a 30 gig and have 2 40 gigs on the secondary IDE cable. I want to use 2000s IDE Raid function to stripe the 2 40's. Is there a way to allow access to them under Linux after doing so? I am repartitioning my 30 and dual booting 2000 and mandrake.

Thanks.

First of all you need a RAID controller to do striping. Just having 2 drives on the same IDE controller won't do it for you.

Unless 2000 does something I'm not aware of that doesn't require a RAID controller.

I'll be damned!, I didn't know windows2000 could do that. Just did a search.

1st statement retracted.

Anyway, here is a good article from Tom's Hardware about setting up windows 2000 RAID. Maybe there will be some information in there that can help you out.
