I'd like to know how they determined that. Did the strippers ask to see a party affiliation card as they picked up the $1 bills with their asscracks? Most people wouldn't recognize their own elected national officials so how the hell would strippers in dark, likely smoky clubs recognize elected officials from other jurisdictions?

They're accustomed to large influxes of men being good for business. Conventions. The Super Bowl. The fleet coming in. So forth & so on. It's the same everywhere.

Guys whose social mileu & reputation keep their sense of propriety straight laced are more likely to let it all hang out when they achieve some anonymity, escape the repression of their obligations. A dark strip club 1000 miles from home definitely provides anonymity.

I wonder if the gay bars and gay strip clubs are eagerly awaiting the Republicans since it seems like a good portion of them are closet homosexuals (ala Larry Craig).

Maybe they need to step up to hookers like the Democrats.

16 arrested in prostitution crackdown before RNC
http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/16-arrested-in-prostitution-crackdown-before-RNC-3798199.php

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tampa Police have arrested nearly 20 women at area strip clubs as part of a crackdown ahead of the Republican National Convention.

From the Pink Pony to the Play Pen, undercover officers made the rounds visiting 12 strip clubs in a two-day operation called "Keep it Clean". Sixteen women were arrested Thursday and Friday and charged with offering to commit prostitution.

Tampa Police said they are investigating prostitution and human sex trafficking of minors based on tips that prostitutes may be coming to Tampa to work in adult establishments during the convention.

Thousands are expected to come to town for the Republican National Convention on Aug. 27-30 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

LOL, wouldn't want those family committed men offering to pay for sex from prostitutes now would we.
