strip club dj's

Why do all strip club dj's sound exactly the same? i've been to 3 in one night and every one sounded the same. is there a school or somthing to attend for this training or what??(j/k about school).

the announcers for the Monster Truck Rally radio commercials probably go to the same school...

I was really different when I played - I worked part time right out of HS. But your pretty much bound to playing what the dancers want. I was different because I would expand on what they already like. And its always awesome when you play something they've never heard and they decide they love it, and thank you for it at the end of the night.

EDIT: I should also mention that my CD collection was a lot more extensive at the time then a lot of other DJs you've probably heard. So I could play a lot of cool stuff, and on top of that I could actually transition and beat match when mixing electronic music. I think its funny because I was at the same club a few months back, and heard their DJ try and beat match some trance tracks, it was about the worst train wreck I'd ever heard.
