Striker Extreme and Striker

I just found this on Asus' site.

Its a list of all Motherboards supporting Quad core but what is interesting is the list of nvidia chipset motherboards near the bottom.

It lists the Striker Extreme AND the Striker
http://event.asus.com/mb/quad_core/

Can anyone verify this or has anyone heard of two versions?

Maybe the Striker will be a future board. Asus only lists the Striker Extreme and the P5N32-E as the only 2 680i boards they have. I know of one user who took the P5N32-E sticker off of the mobo. It said "Striker Extreme" underneath. These are the same boards. The Striker has a few extra perks. I don't see them as being worth it.

My P5N32-E rocks so far.

If I remember correctly in the beginning ASUS spoke of The Striker but when production started it was called The Striker Extreme. The Striker version never came out. It may later on but for right now The Striker Extreme is the only availble version. You will hear the reference of 'The Striker' alot because many people call it that. A shortened abbreviation if you will.

The P5N-E SLI is a totally different mobo. Some have dubbed it The Striker Lite because it doesnt have all the extra features The Striker Extreme has but supposedly shares the same BIOS.

The P5N-E SLI is a 650i chipset. But, the P5N32-E SLI and the Striker are the same board other than the extra features.
