Make the game equal or don't make the game at all. SALARY CAP.

I got into watching a little over 6 years ago after going to college and growing up in a soccer house (parents love the sport, and I played it for 9 years... would have rather played baseball though).

I hope they bring up all the farm teams and tell the current players to go f' themselves.

I bet there is no strike.

There is only one issue that is holding up negotiations (luxury tax). They will come to some sort of agreement before they strike.

I hope that if it happens, NOBODY goes back to the ballparks. No true fan would, either. Make both the owners AND the players pay for their greediness.

It's time for a new national game. I love baseball but the last time they went on strike I was so po's I did not watch for three years. This time it's over. I'd even watch bowling instead at this point :Q

you are just jealous that their special gift has such an economic power, anyway everyone knows that the real money is in converting the sport from ga ys like you and shelly - the tits - 21 to a middle class/ high disposable income supporter demographic, kind of middle management and higher with kids, they will buy the seats and suck in ads.

I can't believe you people are taking your anger out on the players. It is the owners who are walking around with their big, bad anti-trust exemption as if they are above all levels of traditional business and common decency. I mean the owners have Bob DuPuy who lies more than Anna Nicole at the Serta showroom. On top of that they have Bud "I claim to not be an owner when I really am" Selig aka Fagin. You guys have misdirected your frustration. Try going on baseballprospectus.com one of these days, maybe their well-written, articulate articles will change your tune. If they don't I know you aren't the type of person I would want to be stuck next to at the park.

It would be nice if fans really did punish MLB for a strike, but this SI writer thinks the fans will all come streaming back. Interesting article, whether you agree or not.

Bunch of whiny assed greedy bastards

Just because you have no talent and make minimum wage does not mean that everyone should work for next to nothing,
You are talking about the owners, right?
How come you guys have not posted about the ceo's and stockbrokers stealing tons of money,
The only ones that lose money are the players, no play no pay,
The whiney bitch owners wont even build their own ballparks they want the taxpayer to pay and then not afford to go to a game.
Get your crap straight.

I hope all the organizations go bankrupt
Good thinking! then the tazpayer that built the ballpark will be paying for a stadium that has no use.
