Stretched collars suck

Isn't there some material that is elastic enough such that you could reasonably stretch the collar of your shirt and have it revert to its original size? A lot of the shirts I have are easily stretched to a point where they stay stretched, which is getting really annoying.

It's not even an issue of being careless when putting and removing them from hangars, it's an issue caused by stretching shirts because say my backpack strap gets lodged in my shirt so that it stretches the collar a little before sliding to my shoulder. Or taking off wet shirts...
