Stretch Mode on Radeon 8500 Running Dual Monitor?

I'm running dual crt monitor on the Radeon 8500 on Win XP. Anyone in here know how to enable the stretch mode on the radeon 8500, 2 monitor working as one display, the resolution is something like 2048x768, like the "suround gaming" feature of the new Matrox card?

I don't know if the 8500 will do surround gaming, but to extend your desktop onto another monitor, go into the display properties and then click on the #2 monitor and select the checkbox below it that says "Extend my windows desktop" or something like that.
