Strength of glass

I neglected to mention that it would be a piece 18"*30"

My desk is 24"x48", the glass is tempered and 3/8" thick. It's frosted with beveled edges, not something you'd find at home depot. I would call furniture and antique shops, see who they use for this sort of thing. Also, mine is supported by 6 3/4" wide rubber feet.
