wtf was up with that 'teg? he had to of been in the 13s to be at 110 by the end(thats what he said, right?)

that was also really weird because I never have been out when no 5.0s or Z28s have showed up.

actually what one of those guys (he was wearing a red shirt or sweatshirt, I don't know his name) about closing down street legals makes a lot of sense. They closed down the street legals at Pomona over a year ago and people were left with nowhere to go... something about the surrounding neighbors in La Verne or wherever were complaining that it made too much noise? bullsh!t... they still have those stoopid funny car/NHRA drags going on there. stoopid neighbors :p Luckily the strip at Fontana opened up a couple months later.

What's "stoopider" - an actually fast car (ie, Funny Car) or a 16 second import like what you see on that "Street Racing"?

You are missing the point in your blind compact car hating. The point is, they shut down street legal events at Pomona, because of 'noise' problems, but funny cars and hot rods still run there, which are even noisier.

Fontana is higher and hotter than Pomona though, people who run there say they consistently run slower at Fontana.

Watch Gumbal 2002 for some decent street racing, 200 mph through highway traffic / etc. Hellicopter was on the scene and everything.
