Guile > *
back 2 secs, forward, back + Fierce Punch & Roundhouse with Guile for a special throw that doesn't touch them..

To freeze opponent: When close, Down 2 secs, Up, mid punch, mid kick

you can also reset the game if you're losing by doing Down 2 secs, up, Fierce Punch, Roundhouse. (This is how i stay undefeated)

You have no idea how many quarters I took using Guile against Ken/Ryu.

I'd sonic kick their arse and 4 hit re-dizzy combo them in the oblivion.

And don't try that blanko roll against my boy. Sonic kick instakill!!!!!

OP - it's a roll - F, D, roll to F with punch.

You don't know how many quarters I took using Dhalsim against Ken/Ryu. Dhalsim vs Ken/Ryu = mismatch. I also slapped people around with Guile. I even put the moves vital mentioned into combos. As a matter of fact, I slapped people around with just about every character. Zangief vs Guile, when the match started, the other guy immediately did a sonic boom with Guile, and when he did that sonic boom he extended his hand and BAM, pile driver. Haha, man that was great. He was down to almost half energy within 2 seconds of the match. :) Great times. :)

Ahhhh, so you played before the days of the Internet. Where you actually had to learn how to work a character.

Street Fighter lost it's luster when any yahoo could just look it up on the Intarweb and it was more about people gathered around the game, learning, talking, trying things. Those were some really good times.....good times.

Yep. I spent most of my time at the arcades. The cool thing was you HAD to pay so losing felt that much worse but winning felt that much better. :) Good times indeed. Unfortunately my friend made several enemies at arcades too. Why? Because he was one cheap SOB! God damn he was cheap!

Looking at his sig I think he just wanted an excuse to start a thread in Off Topic.

Nah, playing SF II on Xbox Live Arcade and I am getting my ass kicked :D

Are you sure its FFDF+Punch? Couldn't get it to work?

Isn't there a move list in game? (Xbox 360)
I'm almost sure it's listed somewhere in the menu,...

This would take about 10 seconds at google. Or you can do wikipedia

nah, Ryu was pretty much unstoppable. I'd play for hours. It was fun just to tic people off with his kick jab. then as soon as they tried a punch/move.

ARRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGET!

Dhalsim vs Zangief = mismatch in SF2. If I'm playing Dhalsim and someone else is playing Zangief, he ain't getting close to me.

Friggin' computer Zangief would be able to grab you from a mile away and pile driver you, so cheap and cheating and frustrating.

I rarely see anybody use Dhalsim, mostly Ryu/Ken and Guile.

Chun-Li was pretty kick ass though, got the looks and the deadly kicks.

I remember spending countless dollars and hours on lunch breaks camping out at a video rental store, waiting for them to open to get my daily dose of SF2.
