Being able to play it online is like a dream come true to me; I've been playing since it was originally released on the Arcades. Now I've a renewed interest thanks to the aforementioned ability to match up online.

However, since Capcom couldn't care less about what goes on the online matches, they somehow decided that if the comunication is lost, both players get a loss. This means that all the cheapazoid weasels out there get to give YOU a loss simply by turning their X-Box or router off just when you are about to beat them...the communication is lost, both playes get a loss...:frown:

I can live with the super-cheesy, Champion edition M. Bison players out there, or those who can't win without cheap throws...but this is too much.

I love SF!!

I use to play on Kaillera but the lag kind of turned me off from online playing.

how is the lag for xbox live?? For a fighting game like SF, every millisecond counts.

It's surprisingly good when playing against people with good connections and who are in the same continent as you are. It's definately playable. I play with Ryu a lot and his moves require a lot of timing, but I can pull them off.

The problem, like I said, are the idiots intent on getting in my nerves by quitting. It doesn't make any sense to have both players get a loss if one disconnects. If you beat someone, they already get the loss, so they figure they might as well take you with them and turn off their god damned X-Box before the fight is counted for the ranking.
