Been looking forward to it. Glad it's coming to PC. What are the odds it will be bugged as hell at first or have some really annoying problems? probably about 90%. Wonder if Online play will be good.

I could never see myself playing an arcade fighter with a keyboard. But with the PS3 online multiplayer being a pain in the balls to get to work right, lets hope they didnt mess up the PC online multiplayer.

Why would you play it with the keyboard?

There ARE PC gamepads, you know.

I'm playing my fighting games with a XBOX controller (not the S-Type controller for Japanese hands, but the original so called "bulky" one for good ol' American physique). It has about the same buttons layout than a Saturn/Genesis controller, which is the best for fighting games, two rows of three buttons each, six buttons, just like at the Arcade. That's how I like it anyway, there's no way I'm going to have to rely on shoulder buttons or triggers for a fighting game.

i have xbox 360 pc pad but i heard digital isn't for street fighter. wondering if i should give it a try. i also have a logitech rumblepad 2.

yeah... that bundle doesn't look too bad. i have a super super old playstation style gamepad. but i was thinking about going ahead and picking up an xbox style controller for the inane amount of console ports lately.

I plan on using my 360 controller for it. The controller in the Amazon bundle looks a little small.

Wow. I say go out and buy a joystick to use instead. 360 controller sucks for fighting games.

You don't need an expensive ass stick for this game. Just a gamepad with a good dpad.

ArRRrR matey I do.

I've had it on PS3 almost since launch. I just wanted to see what it was like on PC. I'm betting the biggest advantage is online play since PSN is wonky but there will be less players on PC.

i might get to see it over the weekend, a friend is gonna get this one. i might get it if it's good but I'm no big fan of this type of game. do you need a gamepad/joystick for this game? the old coin machine sf2 was pretty fun though.

Well I got a chance to play a little today, and I am very pleased. It's just like on the Xbox360, and it looks better if you have all settings anywhere from mid-high to high.
As far as I can tell nothing has been taken out from the PC version. The multilayer is great, letting you not only play people online at will but also let others throw challenges your way while you are in arcade mode, just like on the arcade machine. This option can be turned off coo course. You can choose to play people of same, varied or higher skill levels, and there is off course a training and challenge modes that are designed to hone your skills and make you a better player. Oh and the controls feel somewhat more responsive and precise now.

The only cons I see here are:

1)Bad frame rate on my descent mid range system when all settings are medium to high. I get anything from 50+ to 26fps with the average being in the upper 20's most of the time which is completely unacceptable. I am forced to play at low-medium to low settings to get good, enjoyable frame rates. Mind you the game still looks no worse than the xbox version at that point...

2)To say that playing this game on a PC with a keyboard or an xbox controller is not very wise would be a HEAVY UNDERSTATEMENT. You should have no less than the SF Anniversary Gamepad for $25+ (at the least) or a $150 TE Edition Joystick(which off course would be ideal). The Xbox controller only got me to the level 5 of the trials at which point pulling off combos became an experience in frustration, and that's putting it very lightly. It's virtually impossible to do these trials with such crappy equipment. I ordered my TE Stick on Buy.com yesterday since (shockingly) it was listed as "in stock" and "limit 2 per customer", but I bet that it is in fact "backordered" yet again, and the info on their website is false as usual. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.

Do yourself a favor, and buy this wonderful game. Show CAPCOM that it is in fact worth their time and money to make fighting games on the PC and not just on those damned consoles. And if this doesn't help, at least you will own the first ever, and possibly the last ever GOOD fighting game on the PC. ;)

With that being said, I'm looking forward to beating you all like a pinjata online! Thank you for reading and good luck.
