Street Fighter 2 HD Remix

I remember playing SF2 religiously as a kid. I popped countless quarters into the arcade and played the hell out of it on the SNES. I downloaded HD remix on my PS3 awhile ago and the game is totally kick@$$. Funny how I could still remember the movelist for most of the characters almost 1 1/2 decades after I first played it.

Playing online is a blast but I get my @$$ handed to me 60% of the time. People are just way too good and I'm a total n00b. I usually pick Ken/Ryu (Akuma is awesome but I can't use him properly).

The graphics are just totally awesome though... Udon did an awesome job with the sprites.

Anyone else play it?

95% for me...i used to be average so i can at least get a few wins in, looks like i cant even get 5. 🙁

game is fun, and im gonna keep trying, its just that sometimes there are lag issues and my opponents ALWAYS seems to know how to take advantage of it.

All I've heard is that it's virtually lag free. Sounds like you just suck and you're trying to find something to blame 😛

The game is pretty tough... even on the medium difficultly the comp gets pretty cheap about half way through.

I really want a joystick too... using a control pad doesn't feel right. I was able to get pretty badass with the SNES pad back in the day, but either these newer controllers suck balls or I've lost my touch...

i've clocked in over 100 games already, about a handful had some sort of lag, so yup, i suck

I have pretty good success when I'm playing with friends (ie, through invites). When I search for matches I usually do okay thouh disconnects are more often there. If I do quick match, I get a lot of disconnects.

It could be better, but it works alright.
