Hello..

This topic is more for the women... i've had strech marks since i was 18. Not a lot just a couple on each side of my waist. Skip ahead 9 years and I have a bunch more. Was wondering if any women know any think i can do to help get rid of them?

Thank you..

Cosmetic surgery. Everybodys got them, so unless youve got several thousand dollars to blow dont sweat it. Otherwise check into plastic surgery.

They make a lot of creams, etc that are supposed to reduce them. I've had stretch marks for years back from when I used to lift weights. Over time, they become less noticable, but they are noticable. I'm going to have to agree with Felix...if you really want rid of them, cosmetic surgery....but that could result in scarring. :(

Plastic surgery is about the best you can do. I've considered it (gained 70-80 lbs in my first few years of college and I've lost about 30 of that, with all the expanding and contracting that goes with it), myself, but need more time before that really becomes an option.

I have a few marks from lifting weights, right around my pits. They've been there since I was a teenager.

When I started working out I got marks all over my arms, a little bit on my chest, and big time on my legs.

They probaby aren't ever going ever away =/

Tanning reduces the appearance of them though.

thanks for input... i currently have been trying cocoa butter and some days it looks like its working... other times i seems like its getting worse... I've been the same weight for the past year but it seems like i'm finding new ones. I did try losing weight (i'm not fat i'm just a little "extra") and it seemed like when i was losing the weight the marks were more noticable... i came across this by doing random google search's. I might try that just to see if it does anything. A couple months ago I did try to look up a doctor for Microdermabrasion and was looking forward to it and a week before i was to start the first treatment, she closed up shop and vacated her building. Never saw her again.... that kind of burned me....

well... i'll try this stuff and if not... i could always go w/ cosmetic stuff... i'm single and live in florida... worst place to live when you have stretch marks and try and find someone.. women here seem to be looking for to much "perfection" in body types and all that........
