I am having a problem streamlining clips on Internet Explorer and through Windows Media Player 9.0

The audio comes out fine but the visual is just shapes and primary colors. So basically I feel like I am the Predator and can only view thermal vitals of whatever I watching through streamlining.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

These are very common sites and I have tried multiple sites.

I have tried two different laptops with success and they are running different versions of WMP, one is an older version.

Do you think it may be an issue with my video card?

Updating to WMP 10.0 will not help me understand what the problem is...

Any thoughts?

What types of files are you streaming? I would recommend installing ffdshow and Real Alternative and trying again.

Okay,

Some of the files I am streaming are coming from places like;

ESPN
NBC
Taylorguitar

Any place that was streamlining.

I am using Internet Explorer which subsequently uses Windows Media Player to play these clips.

Like I said before, until I figure out what is going on with my current situation, there is no point in switching over. I feel like it is a configuration with IE, WMP or my video card that may be the issue.

Thoughts?

The problem is the WM9 DXVA DLL has a bug in it. You might try disabling DXVA for WMV files under ATI Catalyst Video configuration.

I do not know how to disable these files through the ATI catalyst. Could you please help walk me through this?

ATI's help does not help in this area.

Thanks
