Streaming video sits as .tmp

after obligatory blue screen checking my HD -
.tmp file is released by my winxp and
I can do whatever I want with it.

Are there any less brutal ways? To unlock a file?

I searched, found some apps that save video on hd,
not all formats and not from all sites...
dont want them.

You are the best here 🙂
That is why I take it to understand that there are no civilized ways of doing it.
Which is fine.

Honestly, I don't think people know exactly what your question is. What .tmp file? What "obligatory" blue screen? Why or when is the file locked? And by what program?

There are a lot of smart people here, but the poster that gets an answer is the poster that writes out the specific details of what is happening and what is desired.
