Streaming Internet Radio

I downloaded and purchased Super MP3 recorder professional which I use to record BBC7 so I can listen to it at my leisure. It worked for a while and then it stopped. That is, it still records, but when I play it back there is no sound. The vendor has not been helpful, only suggesting that STEREO be checked, but STEREO is not a field on any of the application software screens. If you can suggest something to get this working again, I'd appreciate it.
