I listen to Howard Stern during my commute, but I can't leave my car sometimes because something hilarious is on...

Sooo.... do any of you know of a place that has the CURRENT Howard Stern radio show streaming? Like via Winamp or iTunes or something?

Thanks!

Infinity Broadcasting prohibits streaming of their broadcasts. They are out there but it will take a lot of work to find one and they get shut down pretty frequently.

Someone use to post torrents of the entire show the next day for a while. Not sure if he/she still does it, but its a worth a look into. Setting up a couple tape decks yourself would work, but be too much hassle.

I have only caught his show on E! but don't find it remotely funny at all and would never listen to it

is his radio show the same stuff? because IIRC the E! show is the same as the radio show just stuff cut out to fit in an hour

the radio show is better than the E! show... Howard does more than talk to girls on there... I used to listen to him when i took some classes this summer but usually im not awake or dont have time in the morning to here on campus.

I like how they make fun of all the new news stories... :D

Especially that stupid New Mexican senator (or whatever she is) that was terrified about the Janet Jackson thing. They make fun of her constantly. :D

The sound board is pretty funny too.

I was just wondering I usually listen to the sports junkies I think it is local to the DC metro area only but not sure but IMO they are hilarious

Yep, the complete day's show (commercial free) can be found there in one nice 35mb mp3 file. Download when you get home.

Unfortunately, I only started listening to him again recently, and I found out he's retiring in 3 years!

I used to listen to him on my way to school when I was in elementary school. LOL, my bro used to take me to school and that's what he would listen to.

Damn, what have I missed over the past 13 years? His show is great!

personally, I think Stern has gone soft. His radio show used to be more potent.

That's what our wonderful government wants. They must be extremely bored, nothing better to do I guess than to censor radio and television shows. His show is full of delays, and 1/2 of it gets edited because the FCC is on a rampage to prove a point, and his GM is scared of the new FCC 'rules'. Anything they deem offensive will be a fineable offense. Who the hell is the one making the judgement as to what's offensive? Thank you Janet Jackson, goddamn fool.

I'm working on a way to stream it from my home computer. Just have to upgrade my TV tuner to one with an FM tuner on it. :)

WELL YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS CHIEF:

You could buy a FM Tuner PCI card for your PC and record it that way, or what I do is.......

Tape the whole show using your VCR and VHS tapes. Heres a how to guide that shows you every step. This guide got me started. And whats great is that by the end of the week, often on the weekends when there is nothing to watch on TV I can listen to stern AND be on the PC at the same time. And the big Bonus is that I can fast forward through the 15 minute commercial breaks.

O, and BTW.....Just hope you don't live in a Clear Channel Market and want to tape Stern.........

Just my $0.03

I would usually catch them on the evenings here in the DC area after 7:00 P.M. It's been a while since I last listening to them and realize they moved to WHFS and are now on in the mornings. I guess I should check them out again.
