So I just got a macbook on craigslist and im curious if knows a program to use to stream music and video to the 360 from Mac OS X? I tried Connect 360 but its limited to 100 songs if you dont register. I also saw something like Rivet 2.0 but that costs money as well and I'd prefer if it was free.

Thanks for the help

PS3 Media Server supposedly works with the 360. It's what I've been using with my old iBook as a media server.

Just spend the $20 and buy 360 connect. Its easy to use and the only issue I have is that my wireless goes out on the 360 every once in awhile.

It does work... with video. I tested it out with a Quicktime video. For some reason, some picture files are seen by the 360 as video and not pictures with PS3 media server, so you can't view them through the picture viewer. I haven't tried music streaming. I've had zero issues when using it with my PS3, so I'm hoping the 360 bugs will get fixed if they ever do another release.

An opensource solution is uShare. You have to install darwin ports and get the app through the terminal. PM me if you need help. uShare works good so far. It's just more of a Linux app since you run it from the terminal.
