want to setup a quick baby monitor kind of thing, from one room to another, for a couple of months, bandwidth and video quality does not matter. Which one is better? I think streambox would be easier but my modem looses connection to internet few times a day, but router keeps working and hence, I am leaning towards VLC.
I have no experience in this so was wondering how difficult is VLC, are there any other free and easy software? I will be using old laptop (probably a T40) and cheap creative webcam and mic.
