I want to play through Zelda 3 (SNES) using Higane (the most accurate SNES emulator) and allow my friends to watch. I did something like this a long time ago with Super Mario Bros. 3 and Sunsoft's Batman on a real NES (connected to a capture device).

I don't remember which streaming service I used. Anyway, I don't think I could do it the same way because there's no video capture device this time.

I'm running Windows 8 Professional 64-bit with an EVGA / NVIDIA GeForce 760 4GB and an Intel Core i7-4770K. Doesn't this GPU series have some kind of game-streaming feature built-in with the NVIDIA software? The emulator defaults to OpenGL rendering and also supports other rendering APIs.

[edit]
I know I'm talking about a console emulator, but the software I'm asking about is more-often used with PC games -- so I hope you PC gamers can help me.

Well, the emulator is running and I launched OBS. I can't figure it out.

OBS hasn't explained what it means by "scene." There's a "Scenes" list that contains one entry called "Scene."

The "Sources" list is empty.

When I click "Global Sources," then click "Add," I selected the process for the emulator, added it to the Global Sources list, and clicked "OK."

It still does not appear in the "Sources" list on the main screen.

"Preview Stream" shows a black screen.

"Start Streaming" tells me I need to add a source. How?

[edit]
Oh $%^$. You have to right-click it? That's a major UI fail. They could have put a little "+" or "Add" button right under the list.

OBS is not known for being user friendly. There is X-Split if you want an easier interface, but you have to pay for better quality.
