i wouldnt really call it a stray pixel, because its always in the same spot. it suddenly appeared one day, and now every picture i take, it manages to get in there. i wiped the lens off with my shirt and its still there, but maybe something to wipe it really good with? or maybe theres another reason this pixel gets in there? by the way, its a Fujifulm 2650 2mp camera with the default 16mb card.

CCD Imaging devices, just like LCD displays can develop "stuck" pixels. While its less common for it to happen with CCDs it still can happen.

Really there isn't much you can do about it, other than use Photoshop or similar app to recolor the pixel.

Is the camera still under warranty? If so you might in contact with FujiFilm and see if they repair or replace the camera for you under warranty.
