Tracked it for a bit, they turn off the transponder once it clears controlled airspace though.

It's no SpaceX launch but that's about as good as it gets with our space program.

Moose would be more awesome but a bear would be cool as fuck too! Unfortunately they have already made it to the human part so they probably won't be sending many large animals into space.

They've been launching them regularly for the past few weeks. It's a big enough deal to be featured on the home page of Canada Space Agency.

Pretty cool to know this is happening right from my city. Most of the launches have been happening late at night or on days that I work though so I have not attended any of them yet. Hoping to catch at least one.
