I just installed Freedom Force (quite a cool game, by the way) on my home computer, which has a GeForce3, and although Freedom Force was supposedly designed aroundnVidia ships, when I try playing, I get a really funky screen, instead of the nice, non psychedelic ones. It's as if the background wasn't redrawing, trees and people and items and stuff have "shadows" or something, there are multiple images of each object stretching from where the object started, to where the object now is, after the cmaera moved. For instance, there's a tree on the left side of the screen. I walk towards it, moving the camera, and 5 or 6 copies of the tree spring up on their way to the center, where the tree now is. My friend has an older card, the first radeon all-in-wonder, and the game works perfectly. Two of my other friends also have nVidia cards (GeForce4 though) and the game has the same problem I'm getting. I tried updating drivers, updating DirectX, installing older drivers (I tried both the last Detonator drivers, 41.09 and 40.72, as well as various older ones that were recommended to me, 28.32 and 21.78) I'm not sure what else to try. DirectDraw and Direct3D both say they work fine. I'm on Win2K, with a 2.0GHz P4, Audigy sound, and 256MB RAM. Can anyone help me out?
