Strange Wireless Networking Problem

I reently rolled over *finally* to an 802.1x network, and when I did so one of the common-use boxes in my house lost the ability to connect with any number of programs. (Ares, Unreal Tournament...anything but IE, AIM, BitTorrent and Symantec AV). All network setting appear to be correct...is there something I'm missing here?

sounds like you need to open up those ports used by those programs (unreal = port 7777?) for that computer's assigned IP . You might have opened it for one IP (main computer) but need to for the other IPs. check the router's manual.

Post router brand and model number if you need further help
