Strange wireless issues

I just got my m6bne, its great, but I'm completely stumped by something I'm sure is as simple as can be. I installed the Intel 2200bg mini pci card, attached the black wire to the MAIN, and the white wire to the AUX. Closed it all up, booted, installed the drivers and the utility, everything looks good. it sees my wireless router. Everything looks good I set up the profile, enable WEP. Everything is going great. Until I try to actually use my connection. Nothing. Everything says it should be working, the wireless card says it connected, it has a "very good" signal, but nothing. The only thing that looks awry, is when I go to the "network status" in network and dial up connections, under activity it says Sent: 192, received 0. Anyways, a little help would be nice.

Thanks

you sure your WEP is setup correctly? Try to disable WEP first and try to connect. If you can connect with WEP off, your setup is wrong.

Ugh, well I got it fixed. No it wasn't that. I thought about that too. But once it let met get on to the router config, and gave me a valid IP, but no DNS. Well, what I did do, it reinstall all the drivers for botht he wireless, and the gigabitnetwork, and that did the trick. I don't know why. I reinstalled the wireles once before, and that did not work, I'm confused as to why the wireless card would care about the gigibit nic. Humm, no clue, the the second I did that, it gave me a IP, DNS, and default gateway. Odd solution if you ask me. Oh well.
