Strange video problem.

When I open a WMP file the video has a reddish tint to it. You can especially tell by the color of skin. As soon as I open the nvidia control panel and hover my mouse in it's window (while keeping WMP open) the color goes to normal.
Then if I close the control panel and try to reopen the video, it's red again.

Could it be a video driver problem? What else could it be?
Fresh install of windows xp, etc. Video driver 91.47
