Hey guys. I'm having a weird problem. I was sitting here, minding my own business, playing Falcon 4. I click on IE, and I get crazy graphics problems. Weird colored squares dancing all over the screen. After stripping and dusting my comptuer, I've realized that it only happens at 1600x1200. It happens in Linux and Windows.

My card is a Gainward GeForce 4 Ti-4400. I'm running a Tyan Tiger MP board. I know this isn't a whole lot of info, but if anyone can suggest anyway to get back to a usable resolution, I'm all ears.

Thanks!

Well, it has degraded. I can't do anything, even go into the BIOS, without crazy ASCII characters and other weird colorful crap flashing everywhere. I've tried flashing the card's BIOS, but it does no good.

Anyone had these problems? I *really* don't have the money for a new card.

I too had the exact same problem that progressively got worse. It was with a Ti4600 two of them actually, and both had to be RMAed. That was the only thing that helped.

Thanks guys, I just sent an RMA request to Newegg, and I'll send it to them tomorrow. I'm glad to see that I'm not alone. :)
