I got a new computer recently:
Abit BE6-II mobo
P3-700e
256 mb 133mhz SDram
IBM Deskstar 45 gb HD
Creative Labs Annihilator 2 (GeForce 2 card)
When I plug the video card into the mobo, hook everything up and turn it on, it gives me beeping... a long beep followed by two short beeps (i was told this is a video card error) and the computer won't boot. I tried re-seating the card many times but it won't ever work. Eventually I decided to try my old Voodoo 3 3000 AGP on it, and the computer booted up! I then also tried a friend's Hercules Prophet GeForce card, and that worked also. So I thought maybe the CL Annihilator 2 was messed up. But I plugged it into my 2 other computers and it worked fine on both... Does anyone know wtf is going on and can help me out?
