Actually an annoyance more than a problem. I have a wireless linksys usb adpater connected to my A8N-SLI motherboard. When I power on my computer, the adapter is not recognized and does not show up under device manager. However, when I unplug the USB device and plug it back in, it appears and everything works fine. Any ideas?

Interesting, I have the same problem when I plugged in my MP3 right before booting up. I have no idea at all

Have you tried manually detecting the device in DM? Also check the properties of the USB device to make sure it does not power down or go on standby.

Yes, it says the device is working properly and has the latest drivers installed. The weird thing is, I had this adapter on an old computer and it worked fine. What would cause the usb to not be detected on bootup, and with a simple replugging in it works fine?
