Strange USB (Illuminated) keyboard behavior on computer wake up

OK this is weird..

Whenever my computer comes out of sleep I have to wait maybe 20 seconds before I can use the keyboard. It is a bit like during boot up when the keyboard illumination comes on briefly and then goes out and back on, at which point it is responsive and works.

My keyboard is a Logitech Illuminated USB keyboard. Plugged directly into the mainboard USB port, I haven't tried swapping ports to another one yet? Maybe I'll do that and report back

I am wondering if it could be my power supply going bad, but I have no other symptoms.

My system is a little old:

Asus M2N-E about 4 years old
Power supply is about the same age, it's a good quality 460w unit
CPU was upgraded recently to AMD Phenom II X4 925 95w
I also recently upgraded ram from 6gb to 8gb

Any ideas?

Duh, I answered my own question;

I checked "allow this device to wake the computer" in device manager and prbolem went away :)

My USB keyboard does the same. Appears to be just the computer turning off the USB controller at verious states of play. Turning on all the settings related to USB (ie: usb support ect) and the issue went away. I noticed it as when the keyboard went off, so did the mouse's tracking light :)
