Strange TIVO Problem

I jumped on the new HD Tivo when it came out and have had two problems that I am hoping you guys have some insight into...

Problem #1: Every so often, the video freezes and the sound cuts out. If you change channel, you get a second or two before it happens again. Playing a recorded show at this time also causes the problem. A hard or soft reset fixes the problem. This happens every 1-2 weeks.

Problem #2: Despite techs coming to the house twice to resolve, one of my tuner cards does not get all the channels I pay for. On one tuner several of the channels above 100 are not received including Fox Soccer Channel and the Military Channel both of which I watch a lot. If the TIVO happens to use that tuner to record a show I want on the affected channels the recording ends up being nothing more than one second of grey screen.

Any insights to the nature of these issues?
 
Not sure about #1, but #2 sounds like either a bad CableCARD or one that hasn't been set up properly. I had a similar issue with mine when I first got it. I was able to get it resolved by talking to one of the L2 techs in the NOC or whatever they call it at the cable company. You might post a message over at the tivocommunity.com forums - that's where I was contacted by the L2 tech after posting my problem.
