Got that message as I was trying to quick-reply to a thread.

By "logging in", did they mean actually entering a username and password?

Because I DID NOT "log in".

So does this mean my account was hacked?

Edit: Before I attempted to reply to that thread, I had an incoming friend request from janas19, whom I recently de-friended, because I really have no idea who that is, and I didn't know how to manipulate the friends panel when the first friend request appeared months or years ago.

Is it possible to hack people's accounts, through friend requests?

That's certainly an odd series of events. But no, we're not aware of any way to break into accounts via friend requests.

VirtualLarry you should be careful there is a way to hack accounts on vBulletin forums out in the wild right now. :(

Make sure your password is very strong.
