Strange symbol on my X2 4400+ in CPU-Z

Screen shot here

I just installed this to replace a 3500+ Winchester, and I have this strange symbol in CPU-Z and system properties.. Everything seems to be working fine as far as I can tell.. but why do I have this thing? 🙁

" AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+"

You're both very helpful, but I hate to imagine how temperamental the female one would be 😛

This " " seems to convert to something like a new line symbol in DOS and Linux.. could it be something my Motherboard (Gigabyte NF4 Ultra with F6 BIOS) is putting there? Maybe I'll try flashing the BIOS again.

What desktop skin are you using?

It's called ThunderStorm, for WindowBlinds.

I re-flashed my BIOS, but it's still the same. 🙁

Is anyone else using a Gigabyte motherboard with an X2?

Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about it. CPU-z is known for weird glitches like that, just leave it. I think it looks pretty cool.
