Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out. I have been using safari on my imac for a couple months now and when I type in a site I want to go to I (for example) just type google and then enter. Safari would then add the http, .com and whatnot and I would be on my way.

Now when I do that it (site name and enter) it doesnt auto fill in all of that info and I get an error page. Is there some option that I have to check or is there a combo key method that I'm not aware of (in windows its alt + enter).

Thanks!

Did you recently change any DNS settings?

Have you done this from the beginnng... Or did you initially start by typing in full names?

The only thing that I can think of is that it is somehow tied to your history, and if empty it it stops working until you go to that site again.
