When I run Speedfan on my parents computer, which is several years old, it says that the +12V is actually at 6.63 Volts. I have noticed that it is a very touchy computer, and any 3d heavy application crashes it almost instantly. Could the power supply be the problem? It's a crappy 410w supply that came with it.
Right now it has:
9700 Pro
P4 2.66Ghz, don't know what core it is, it's back from when HT just came out.
512 RDRAM
and some other unimportant things.
I have an old 300W Antec supply lying around. Should I put that one in to replace the current one or is Speedfan incorrect?
