Strange sight at my job...

i work in some elementary schools in northern nj.
i walked into one today and noticed near the main entrance door a painting by none other than georgia o'keefe
(well a print of the painting, anyway)


i could be wrong, though. i know it was a "flower" painting.
does anyone else find it strange that this would be at an elementary school?

Cool pic...don't remember seeing that before but I see no problem with it at an elementary school.

I would imagine some of the younger ones might mistake it for something aflame?

Nice pic. Don't see anything wrong with it unless you take note of the fact that a lot of O'Keefe flower paintings resemble a certain portion of the female anatomy most ATOTers are unfamiliar with. 😉

Even then, you have to really look at that painting to see the faint resemblance....

Well, it's not that obvious or perhaps I'm just seeing what I think it looks like. In any case, a lot of O'Keefe paintings are a bit more obvious from what I've seen.

EDIT: Yeah, I probably fall into the pervert category. Shoot me. 😛
 
yeah, i was going to post comparisions...but i got nervous they might be too obvious. who knows where the mods draw the line as far as art is concerned?

i cant seem to find anymore that work. i want that skull one but none of them are very good quality or still working, it seems.
