This is still running on my 800 Mhz T-Bird, have not installed the 1.4 Ghz proc yet. It burned through the first 73.86% in a couple of minutes, now it says it will take over ten hours to complete the rest?

You can use SetiSpy to check the WU and progress information. Just run it with your CLI client.

I just had a WU with 18 spikes, 2 triplets and 5 pulses. That's the most "stuff" I have so far.

You can run setiwatch to have a look at the current WU. If you have a network, you can monitor all your crunchers.
BTW, I've never seen a strange WU like yours. Perhaps you've found something ? :)

If I had found something though, why would it go through the first three quarters so fast? I am thinking that maybe it is just a glitched WU.

ShotgunSteve, if your computer starts spitting out strange looking designs for the construction of "something"...give me a call. I may know what is going on.

/now where did I see something about this? hmmmm

D'OH! Sorry, I did not catch the reference, although I have read the book and seen the movie. The atmosphere in the theatre was great, right up until the end when it said, "For Carl" and some dumb punk stands up to walk out and and starts yakking about, "Carl? Who the fvck is Carl? What a fvcking piece of sh!t movie..." then I tripped him. ;)

Good for you...on the tripping. :)

Hey, it's 6:45 AM here and I'll be fixing pancakes for my little grandson very shortly. You seem to be the one up all night. What time is there...almost 4:00 AM?

Yes, 4:00 A.M. right now. I normally work graveyard shift anyway though, I just happen to be home right now.

Just checked the Arctic Cam and was wondering if that is the Aurora Borealis near the church's steeple?

If I see that happen to one of my machines I go and check it and it has never failed that there would be an error message up on the screen. Doesn't seem to be your problem though but my guess would be that windows is doing its usual magic in some way. Looks like it is time to re-install.:)

Well, it has completed that WU and gone on to the next. No obvious problems with the completed Unit.

EDIT: I just woke up, and my Engrishes are not being very good right now. ;)
