Hi, I have built brand new PC today, and I have noticed strange think about my HDD. Its Samsung 1TB SpinPoint 3.5" drive.

It sometimes does strange clicky sounds. I mean, my system is located on SSD and I have HDD clean. But still. time to time, lets say about 30 - 100 seconds interval, sometimes much longer, it makes few short click sounds, relativelly loud. But when I copy something to the HDD its actually quiter than my previous also Samsung 400GB HDD. But with it I never noticed such clicky sounds. Do you know why does it make them?

Thanks.

Well I am at old PC at the moment, but I remembered it does the same sound when HDD is turned off in the moment it looses power. When I start system there is no noise since my system is on my SSD.
