Strange result with Everest

Prime95 said I have a "hardware failure" so I ran "reports" on Everest which tells me that:

"R430.PCI_EXPRESS.DDR3...554F.9.7.1.AS02..C000:00C0...YOU HAVE NOT CONNECTED THE POWER CABLE TO YOUR VIDEO CARD. PLEASE REFER TO THE 'GETTING STARTED GUIDE' FOR PROPER HARDWARE INSTALLATION."

This makes no sense to me. Logically, to me at least, if it wasn't connected, then how would I get video? Does anyone have any idea what this means?

not enough power. If it's not connected or underpowered, the card would just run slow not give you no image.

so i'm just trying to figure out how in the world your would be having that problem, unless the PSU just isn't strong enough....

My issue with this particular Asus card is that on mine the fan doesn't work. My system (Shuttle SN25P) has a 350watt PSU, so I don't know what the issue is.

Update: It finally BSOD'd. It would begin to boot, LanParty logo/pic displayed, and as soon as it went to load the OS, there was a BSOD - really small print & it flashed too quickly, & it began to reboot with the same result. I gave it back to the guy who built it for me - didn't have the time to do it myself which I now regret - so let him figure it out. I'm using my 2d desktop, a TBird which I built a few years ago, which is rock-solid.

Nutz - even tho the card doesn't have an external power supply, you should check to make sure that it's plugged into the mobo correctly - it's a 3-pin connector.
