strange question: what methods are available for printing on wood?

the idea is to print various tyupes of color images onto virgin wood and then seal the print with some kind of clear coat to preserve it. any ideas?

Best idea I have is to not do it😛

But if you must you could do like the guy who wanted to print on cakes... he invented a cake printer made from a stripped down HP Ink Jet printer. That would prolly be your only option.

edit.. maybe you could screen print but I dont think it would turn out very well and you would be limited on how many colors you could print and it would be very time consuming...
