strange ps3 problem

Need help with strage 250gb slim ps3 problem
The ps3 turns on but nothing hapens red standby goes to green to sy its on but the screen stys blank and the fan dus not start and I can't load a disk and after aboute a minuet the fan starts to spin and I can load a disk but the tv screen stys blank I canot get into service mode
 
Have you tried holding down the power button until it beeps a second time? That will reset the video settings and should in most cases get it back up.
 
Hi thank you for your replay yes tried to reset but it is still on a blank screen I tried av cables and hd cable its like it turns on but boots after about a minuet and wen I want to turn it of I need to hold the power button down for it to turn of I tried searching for the problem online but its like a one of a kind problem wen I turn it on the lights come on like normal but the fan stands still there is no hdd activity and I can't load a disk in the drive and then after about 58 seconds later the fan starts to spin the hdd light comes on for a second or two and I can lode a disk in the drive
 
Yes your rite dreaded that cal for a long time its out of warranty so I'll probably save up and buy a new one what do you think of the super slim models are they any good
 
The newer slim is a lot louder and to me feels cheaper. I don't think it is bad but if it was my choice I want the regular slim personally.
 
That's a very weird problem. It's not a YLOD. When those happen, the power LED flashes yellow, the console beeps three times, and it shuts down. Bad power supply maybe.
 
I thought about maybe corrupted firmware or bad power supply can you maybe tell me wat the 4 white wires are for that connects from the psu to the mother board and what their voltages are I tested them and i get 5.5v. 3.0v. Nothing on the third one and 5.5v on the last one
