Yesterday when shutting down I got an "Ending Program" dialog for "dshow_notif". Never seen this before and every search turns up nothing (on my comp and on the net). I have since run ad aware, spybot, norton antivirus, and have checked all the latest virus's at Nortons site and nothing. I'm not noticing any strange behavior, but this is nerve wracking.
I thought it might be direct show something, but I have never seen it before, and cannot fathom what is using it. This is a new comp with hardly anything on it. Anyone got an idea of what this might be?
