I hope someone can shed some insight on my situation.

Here is my setup

Gigabyte 6100 Motherboard
Athlon 64 3200+
1 GB Corsair Value Ram 3200
WD 300 GB Hard Drive
1 Sony DRU-810A
Geforce 6800 GS PCI X16
Thermaltake 430 NP Power Supply

Computer runs perfectly stable, passed every test in prime 95 for over 3 days straight. The problem lies when i move the comp somewhere or turn it off for a while, It will not turn back on. I have to unplug the 24 pin cable from the power supply from the motherboard, plug it back in the motherboard. Then the PC will turn on.

When it DOES turn on, i only get a black screen, and an unable to turn the computer off with the power button. I have to resort to using the switch on the back of the power supply. After powering off and on the PC a few times, It will finally post and boot fine, and from there i will have no problems. Aside from leaving my pc on all the time, any one have any insight as to what the problem might be?

I had that happening with a PSU that was going bad. I've also seen it when there is a standoff out of place under the motherboard.

I would try taking the motherboard out of the case first, to eliminate a short to the case as the problem. If you still replace the PSU, I recomend getting a Fortron. They are high quality, but still inexpensive. Thermaltake on the otherhand, isn't all that good. My first one died after 3 days. Also might be a good idea to try and re-seat everything since it sounds like the problem started when you moved the computer.

reseated motherboard, problems still persist. Still have to power on multiple times to get a POST screen. Any other recommendations? I really dont have the money to buy a new motherboard right now. This is very frustrating.

I am going o need a new moherboard. Turns out my problem is not an isolated incident. Plenty of other people have reported the same performance with the board. Time to get a refund and get another board.
